Mit Podcasting bezeichnet man die Erstellung von Audiodateien und deren Verbreitung über das Internet. Das Wort setzt sich aus dem Namen von Apples populärem MP3-Player iPod und dem englischen Begriff „broadcast“ (deutsch Rundruf/Rundfunk) zusammen.
