Die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler der 3b nahmen am 22.Dezember 2015 von 8.30 \u2013 9.30 am weltweiten Projekt \u201cCapturing Christmas across the Globe\u201d teil. Mittels Skype unterhielten wir uns mit Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern aus Neu Delhi, Indien.
\nDieses weltweite Projekt lief vom 24.Novemberbis 24. Dezember und sollte Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler verbinden, um die Art und Weise, wie Weihnachten in den unterschiedlichen L\u00e4ndern gefeiert wird, miteinander zu teilen.
\nAls zuerst die Ton\u00fcbertragung nicht funktionierte, tanzten die indischen Kinder zu Jingle Bells – und hier in Wien – sangen wir einfach mit. Mit Papier und Stiften kommunizierten wir, tauschten Namen und Weihnachtsgr\u00fc\u00dfe aus. Da wir in Indien geh\u00f6rt wurden, konnten wir den Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern \u00fcber unsere Weihnachtsbr\u00e4uche erz\u00e4hlen. Zum Gl\u00fcck funktionierte die Ton\u00fcbertragung schlie\u00dflich doch. So erfuhren wir, wie indische Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler die Weihnachtsfeiertage verbringen.<\/p>\n

\nOur students (Praxismittelschule der PH Wien, Vienna, Austria) participated in the global project: „Capturing Christmas across the Globe“. We used Skype to get in touch with Arti Chopra`s students from India. \u202a\u202c\u202c\u202c\u202c
\nThe global collaborative project titled, ‚Capturing Christmas across the Globe‘ using Skype connected classrooms from across the globe between 24th of November 2015 and 24th of December 2015, with the aim to capture ways in which Christmas is celebrated across the world.
\nIn the lead up to Christmas, students strengthened their understanding of different Christmas traditions across the world by asking other children about how they celebrate Christmas in their community – their traditions, celebrations, symbols, food and festivities that mark Christmas for them and sang carols in their native language\/ traditional way.
\nOn December 22nd, we did our Skype Call. Problems due to the used devices could not stop the enthusiasm. First we had no audio signal, so the Pupils from India sang and danced \u201eJingle Bells\u201c and here in Vienna the kids joined the song. Using pens and sheets of paper, we managed to \u201ctalk\u201d to each other. Finally the connection worked, so we could talk about the way we celebrate Christmas Eve in Austria and learnt about the celebration in India.<\/p>\n
